Cruisin'

We said good bye to the Reaves family (thank you, again, for hosting us in your lovely home!) after breakfast and before mass at Sts. Peter and Paul church in Pearl River.

On our way to Mobile, we stopped to put out toes in the sand and the ocean in Gulfport.  The water was surprisingly warm!  The sand stayed with us.  We will have to vacuum the car again soon.

The Gulf Coast Exploreum was fun.  Lots of hands-on activities (our favorite), but not much new.  We looked over the options of other things to do in Mobile, and decided to drive to Montgomery.

The highway in Alabama is very pretty.  There wasn't too much traffic this afternoon, so we used the opportunity to learn how to use the cruise control on my Kia.  Cassie read the manual (thanks, Lori, for the handy manual), and I played with the buttons while driving.  Cruise control is great!

It was another day of too much driving and not enough walking.  And it looks like many of the points of interest will be closed tomorrow, but we found some delicious Indian food for dinner tonight.

I never comment, cause I never have anything clever to say. But I read every one of yours and Cassie's posts and I love them All! It looks like such a grand adventure!!!
