Lompoc, California

Less driving today!  Yay!  First stop after leaving our luxurious room at the Holiday Inn Santa Maria -- Vandenberg Air Force Base!  Cassie is spending the day with her airman, so I am free to wander.

And I found a mission!  La Purisima is the largest mission on the El Camino Real.  It is also an historic site, with volunteers in period costume.

I arrived just in time for May Crowning and a blessing for all mothers from the Padre!

Inside the chapel.

The blacksmith making a nail.

Inside the church.

Bell tower and cemetary wall.

Cassie looks beautiful...always has. You look more beautiful in every photo! The lower states are for you! And no job...no worries? And the church....beautiful, too!
Remind me to tell you about my dream....
