Well?

What can be said about today?  Not much. We began by looking for the Dr. Seuss sculptures in downtown Abilene.  Found them. 

Looked for a place to eat breakfast. Ate at Cracker Barrel.  That was good.  Then we found the mall (Cassie needed to go to Ulta).

Went to a family fun center (mini golf, bowling, go-karts, etc.).  It was not fun. Go-karts were not open. Bowling lanes were full with an elementary school field trip. We decided to golf.  Most of the holes had the fake grass taken out. Looked like they are working on it. The water hazard ponds were extremely scummy and one even had a dead bird in it. We played a few holes but were kinda grossed out, so we decided to head for San Antonio.

Arrived around 4 at the KOA ( a very nice one--2015 KOA of the year).  Booked a site then headed downtown to the theater. Had thought about looking for BBQ but decided we should get back before dark to set up our tent.

It is hot and humid and the bugs are biting. Will have to get a hotel for tomorrow night. 

Looking forward to seeing San Antonio tomorrow.
