Before leaving the Los Angeles area, we stopped by to visit our friend, Fr. Cumberland, at St. Joseph Church in La Puente. We wanted to take some pictures and asked what his favorite picture spot was. Fr. Cumberland suggested we pose in the confessional. I was supposed to be looking penitent, and he was to be looking aghast. It was hard to stop laughing.

A beautiful church! Fr. Cumberland introduced us to a few of his parishioners, and some of the students and teachers at the school. It was a brief visit, but very good to see him!
And then THIS HAPPENED! Lori and Marlon are generous hosts. So happy to be in Mesa for a few days!
