this is a piece that cassie had displayed in the art show last thursday. when i saw it, i thought "aunt lori would love that!" (i love it, too!)
there are two of four gray whales in this picture. they've just been hanging out near the shore about a mile south of our house. last weekend, cassie and i pulled over twice to just sit and watch them. they never did come very far out of the water, but we could hear their breath each time they surfaced. amazing.
these are my glass slugs, mary lou and herbie. they just look so beautiful with the sun shining through them, don't they?
we made the offer on this house in november of '92 and moved in february of '93. in the spring, we were surprised by a row of red and yellow tulips along the front of the house. these are the only two that keep coming back each year.
coincidence? i don't think so.

I don't think it's a coincidence that you have two yellow tulips coming back each year. Nope. And yes, I LOVE Cassie's picture. It is beautiful.
I could see that picture in Aunt Lori's house for sure! I like you tulips too!

I love Cassie's picture. Frame it and hang it on your wall. Beth has done that with some of Katie's art work.
Cassie... keep up the creative stuff!
