MIM

Taking advantage, again, of Teacher Appreciation events! The Musical Instrument Museum offered free admission for teachers, so I went and loved it!

You could spend an entire day here wandering through the world of music. The museum is arranged by continents. You wear headphones, walk up to a video screen for any country, and listen to an incredible variety of music.

So many interesting things! Instruments made from animals (armadillo, turtle, hides of all kinds), instruments made from garbage, and of course traditional wood and brass. In North America there's an exhibit from the Wallace & Ladmo show highlighting their band.

I could have stayed much longer, but got hungry and wanted to visit the Heard Museum (because it was a free admission day, of course!). Had lunch at Paradise Valley Burgers before heading to Heard.

Another great adventure!
